Giving Out Free Hugs!

Recently me and my girl were walking around Orchard Road, opposite Tangs Shopping Centre and then we saw a teenage male holding up a big sign "FREE HUGS". That's something you'd never see especially along the streets of Singapore.

Well I didn't really went to get my hug, since I've already got someone to hold on to... but this is something that touches my heart. Human touch is the most amazing thing that we can give. Come to think of it, it might be a good idea to simply let go of the pretentious masks that we have to put on just to get our job done, and give out some care and concern to others instead. In the long run, you'll get your own comfort as well. Pretty easy thing to do with so much rewards, spiritually and emotionally, that everyone's finding it hard to.

It's time to think again, people.

Apparently, this "FREE HUGS" campaign started in Australia and spreads worldwide to a LOT of countries, thanks to youtube.

Why is it so infectious? Check out this video.

To Board or Not to Board

Wow guys, it's me again after my last entry for aeons ago. Yeah~ Been really busy lately and added to the fact that i'm rather lazy and was engrossed with my online RPG character in World of Warcraft, I've not been up online to blog.

Yeah well, sometimes things does get really routinal and makes you forget about how many other things can spice up your life. Recently, I've went on an outing with my fellow poly mates to the IT show at Suntec City.


Nuff Said.

After squeezing through torrents of the human traffic, one of my friends managed to give me a call before his battery went flat. While roaming the whole area swarming through the pack, we decided to wait for our friend outside of the hall.

Just as we decided to leave, he pops up! Talk about fate huh.

Anywayz, we went for dinner and then proceeded to Pitstop Cafe at Circular Road. You can check out their web blog @ this address.

Going up the stairs of the shop house, there we can see a slide door. As you step into the cafe, the smell of robust coffee and fried finger food greets you before you see photographs of their past patrons all plastered on their wall.

There goes the first volume of Heroes.

With the 23rd episode of Heroes aired, there goes the first volume of Heroes and marks the beginning of a new chapter to the series.

Wonder what will be the new disaster next?

Raining Thursday

Here I am posting my next blog, still strugglng to decide on the path of road I should take. Seems that I have to take one road in order to reach the other that I wanted to take. This is gonna mean, more money to dump into for my future.

Hmmm..... more information to find and chew on to make it clear for my decision making...

At least it's the weekends coming soon! Which means I have more time now to enjoy and think things through since I've cleared most of my pile of shitload on my desktop in office.

3-Way Fork Road

I feel that I have come to the point where I'm right at a junction where it branches out to a lot of roads. I see 3 that I'd like to take... but in reality, I just can't split myself into multiple copies like the amoeba and go for all of the things i want to do.

It all comes down now to good decision making and risk planning. And I pretty much be needing help in this department.

Seesh~ Hopefully everything will become clear in the months to come.

Reunion with the fellow Poly Friends

There wasn't much time to actually sit down to blog about some of the events that went through over the weeks.

And the one I should definitely mark would be the recent chalet I went to.

It's been as long as 3 years since I met these familiar faces since the poly years. How reminiscing it gets when me and my dear attended the chalet.

I was actually worried I might actually not be able to glue well to the whole thing, but turns out I'm able to blend in with the guys around, familiar faces or not. I'd very much say it's a really successful chalet. the 20+ of us were actually able to interact and talked about almost anything, including gossips and stuff.

There're a lot stuffs I got the opportunity to know about over this section. Everyone. And here are some of the pictures from the chalet.

Procrastinating myself

Been having a tough week in work. I'm being prone to screw ups for the whole week. Just doesn't feel right. I get a feeling it's me and my attitude that needs more work again.

Is it me not being as open-minded to changes that I thought I am that's causing all this unnecessary negative feelings I seems to be channeling through?

This may sound like I'm being a childish person. Perhaps I just need to vent and I'm still a child as I am. I still need to grow up more before I'm ready to take in all this issues coming in and out of my feelings.

It can get so overwhelming, that it's so tight in the chest that I can't breathe well.

Discipline. Much needed it myself.

Deal Or No Deal

Yesterday night, my colleague invited us to watch a game show recording at MediaCorp. In the end the rest of them were busy, and just nice I'm done with my work for the day, I went along.

That night is actually the last recording for a new game show in Singapore, Deal Or No Deal. In this game, hosted by Adrian Pang, contestants get a chance to win price money, ranging from $1, YES! 1 FRIGGING DOLLAR, to a whoopee sum of $250,000.

Contestants needs to choose 1 briefcase out of 26 from 26 beautiful models. Inside each briefcase contains a certain sum of money ranging from $1 to $250,000. As for the briefcase the contestant chose, will be the one that determines how much the contestant actually wins. From here, the contestant will then keep on picking the rest of cases to eliminate the possibly of getting low cash. As less boxes remains... the stakes are getting higher. Not to mention, there's a banker in a dark room will try to solicit the contestant to deal with him after every round of box opening.

The lesser the boxes remains. More anxiety to the whole recording set. I shan't tell much further. It's best to watch it on tv at 13th May.
